Trump’s Crypto Bombshell – It’s Just The Beginning

Once again, Bitcoin is making headlines, surging over the weekend after President Trump’s announcement of a U.S. Strategic Crypto Reserve that includes not only Bitcoin but also Ether, XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA).

Bitcoin skyrocketed 18% from Friday’s low of $78,226.23 to over $95,000 at its peak, while altcoins experienced even more dramatic gains. Ethereum surged 13%, and crypto-related stocks such as Coinbase (+9%), Robinhood (+7%), and MicroStrategy (+12%) followed suit.

While Bitcoin’s price action is exciting, the real story is what happens next: On Friday, the White House is set to welcome professionals in the cryptocurrency industry for a first-of-its-kind Crypto Summit. I expect this event to provide the first critical insights into how this reserve will operate.

For now, one thing is clear: the landscape for Bitcoin and crypto has fundamentally changed. As for me, my Bitcoin holdings aren’t going anywhere. The upside potential is simply too high to ignore. If you don’t own Bitcoin yet, I strongly suggest reconsidering.

Enrique Abeyta:

How to BTFD Without Losing Your Shirt

You can buy the dip without losing your shirt. In fact, buying oversold quality stocks during bull markets is one of the best strategies for creating wealth. And the market is gifting us one of those opportunities right now.

First off, if this bull market falls within the historical average, we still have another +40% and six months to go. But we're just getting started if it runs like several larger ones in recent decades! Plus, plenty of other data points suggest this market is heading higher.

On another note, the equal-weighted S&P 500 index (SPW) is outperforming the market capitalization-weighted S&P 500 (SPX). SPW’s outperformance supports my bullish outlook and suggests that mega-caps have been hit the hardest. You want to buy these beat-down leaders.

These companies’ shares may or may not lead the stock market in 2025. Either way, they are great companies. And if you're going to “BTFD” why not buy the BEST? Remember that bull markets are the periods where you can change your financial future by being thoughtfully aggressive. That time is now.

Chris Campbell:

The Majorana Code: Microsoft’s Weirdest Bet Yet

The media has been abuzz about Majorana 1, Microsoft's quantum chip. The headlines are flashy. CEO Satya Nadella says they’ve “created an entirely new state of matter.”

Quantum computing is a weird way of computing that can (theoretically) solve problems regular computers struggle with. In traditional quantum computing, information is stored in qubits. A qubit can be a particle like a photon (PsiQuantum), an electric loop (IBM, Google), an ion (IonQ), or trapped inside silicon (Intel).

Enter our new friends: Majorana particles. Instead of storing information inside fragile qubits, like a normal quantum computer, Majorana qubits cheat. Quantum information isn’t stored in a single location but is encoded in the relationships between pairs of Majorana particles. This “nonlocal” storage makes the system far more resistant to errors.

Even if Microsoft has Majorana particles, there are huge hurdles before this technology becomes useful. Right now, it’s more theoretical than proven science. Majorana is cool. It might change everything. But, right now, there’s still a lot of uncertainty.
