The Greatest U.S. President
James Altucher:
Ranking U.S. Presidents: Who Truly Deserves the Top Spot?
So we have a brand new president of the United States, and of course, everyone has their opinion about whether President Trump has been good or bad, will be good and bad. Everyone has their opinion about Biden, Obama, and so on.
But what makes someone a good president? What makes someone a bad president?
Obviously, we want our presidents to be moral and ethical, and we want them to be as transparent as possible with the citizens. We want our presidents to have courage without taking too many risks. And, of course, we want the country to grow economically, though that doesn't always happen because of one person.
I'm on this topic because I saw a list where historians ranked all the presidents from 1 to 47. So, in the latest episode of The James Altucher Show, I want to comment on it and share my take on who I think are the best and worst presidents. Some of my picks might surprise you…
Greg Guenthner:
TRUMP Coin
Crypto insanity is heating up this week as Bitcoin and a couple of fresh Trump tokens enjoy an Inauguration Day head start over the sleepy stock market.
While stocks enjoyed a three-day weekend, a fresh Donald Trump-produced meme coin (TRUMP) exploded to a $10 billion market value. Shortly after TRUMP began to run out of steam, Melania Trump launched her own coin (MELANIA), which briefly reached a $1 billion market value on Sunday before tumbling back to reality.
Trump coin pump-and-dumps aside, Bitcoin also continues to defy a choppy equities market. In fact, Bitcoin briefly shot to fresh all-time highs above $109K in the wee hours Monday morning. And, yes – Bitcoin can continue to march to new highs despite the sluggish stock market action we’ve experienced over the past six weeks.
While many of the popular stocks that folks were trading back in November might need more time to set up for fresh trades, Bitcoin is ripe for another strong rally. Here are three reasons why Bitcoin is set to extend above $120,000 in the weeks ahead.
