The 10X Quantum Hack

James Altucher:

Smarter, Colder, Faster: Quantum Amplifier Breakthrough Makes Quantum Computing 10x More Efficient

Researchers in Sweden say they’ve engineered a smarter, ultra-low-power quantum amplifier that could dramatically ease one of quantum computing’s biggest engineering headaches.

A new study from Chalmers University of Technology, in collaboration with Low Noise Factory AB, unveils a cryogenic amplifier that switches on only when needed. This reduces energy consumption and thermal noise that threaten the fragile state of quantum bits or qubits.

The breakthrough, detailed in IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, has the potential to pave the way for the realization of truly large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers, marking a significant advancement in the field.

“This is the most sensitive amplifier that can be built today using transistors,” lead author and doctoral student at Chalmers, Yin Zeng, said in the Chalmers press release.

“We’ve now managed to reduce its power consumption to just one-tenth of that required by today’s best amplifiers – without compromising performance. We hope and believe that this breakthrough will enable more accurate readout of qubits in the future.”

NEW Senate Bill: Crypto Clarity... FINALLY!

Tuesday, Senate Banking Chairman Tim Scott and Sen. Cynthia Lummis unveiled a framework for what could become the most important piece of crypto legislation yet.

The proposal would clearly define what’s a security vs. what’s a commodity – ending the turf war between the SEC and CFTC. It would also let crypto exchanges register with the CFTC, giving them a real path to compliance, and also limit the SEC’s ability to overreach into digital assets without clear authority.

This new bill builds on the bipartisan momentum we saw last week, when the Senate passed the GENIUS Act (regulating stablecoins) with support from 18 Democrats.

This kind of regulatory clarity doesn’t just protect investors, it unlocks the floodgates for massive institutional capital. And that shift – from chaos to structure, from hesitation to participation – is the catalyst that could propel crypto into its next phase of mainstream adoption.

For investors already holding crypto, that’s great news. And if you’re not yet invested, now is the time to consider adding crypto to your portfolio.

Nvidia, Foxconn Plan Humanoid Robot Deployment at Houston AI Server Factory

NVIDIA and Foxconn Technology Co. Ltd. are in advanced discussions to implement humanoid robots at Foxconn’s new AI server manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas.

This initiative, if finalized, would mark the first time NVIDIA’s products are manufactured with the assistance of humanoid robots and the first instance of Foxconn using such robots on an AI server production line.

The Houston factory is slated to commence operations in early 2026 to deploy humanoid robots by the first quarter of that year to help assemble NVIDIA’s GB300 AI servers. The facility’s design includes extra space specifically to accommodate this type of automation.

Foxconn has been actively training humanoid robots for various manufacturing tasks, such as picking & placing objects, inserting cables, and performing general assembly work, as evidenced by a company presentation in May.
