Prepare for AI Police
This ‘College Protester’ Isn’t Real. It’s an AI-Powered Undercover Bot for Cops
American police departments near the United States-Mexico border are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for an unproven and secretive technology that uses AI-generated online personas designed to interact with and collect intelligence on “college protesters,” “radicalized” political activists, and suspected drug and human traffickers.
Massive Blue, the New York–based company that is selling police departments this technology, calls its product Overwatch, which it markets as an “AI-powered force multiplier for public safety” that “deploys lifelike virtual agents, which infiltrate and engage criminal networks across various channels.”
Massive Blue is reportedly offering cops these virtual personas that can be deployed across the internet with the express purpose of interacting with suspects over text messages and social media.
However, many experts worry about the tech being turned on everyday people.
It begs the question: Is "Big Brother AI" officially among us?

British Army Energy Weapon Blasts Drones by the Swarm
The British Army has successfully tested a Radiofrequency Directed Energy Weapon (RF DEW) that took out multiple swarms of drones simultaneously and near instantaneously using high-frequency radio waves at a cost of 10p (US$0.13) per shot.
Drones are becoming a major factor in modern warfare as well as a growing potential hazard to civilian air traffic. In 2024 alone, Russia launched 18,000 drone attacks against Ukraine.
The problem with drones is that many variants are very small and cheap and can be launched in swarms that could potentially overwhelm or evade conventional air defense systems.
Developed as part of Project Ealing, the $53-million RF DEW can engage multiple drones at a range of up to 0.62 miles. It fires a blast of electromagnetic radiation that scrambles or fries the drone's delicate electronics and sensors. By doing so, it can act as a significant layer in defending military installations and civilian airports from drone threats.
In addition, the system is highly automated and requires only one person to operate it from a wide variety of platforms, including trucks and armored vehicles.
Greg Guenthner and Enrique Abeyta:
Top Trades of April
In the latest episode of Top Trades Live, expert trader Greg Guenthner and our chief strategist Enrique Abeyta discussed the volatility we have been facing in the markets.
We had an interesting start to the month, to say the least. Enrique calls the markets' reactions to Trump's "Liberation Day" announcement "violent", but he also recalls correctly predicting the ensuing rebound. As of writing, the S&P 500 has been positive 1% the past 5 days.
The market remains mixed as more news pours out of the White House. We had a few gains on Friday and earlier this week, but the horizon is unclear.
In this episode, Enrique uses analytics, historical data, and visuals to show you where the markets are likely headed and how he plans to invest. If you're looking for a barometer for this stormy market, click the link below for Greg and Enrique's insights.
