Musk’s Off-World Memory Bank to Save Humanity

Musk Hints At 'Galaxy Mind' Venture To Deploy AI Satellites In Deep Space

Elon Musk is hinting at a new venture that could unite his sprawling business empire under a single audacious goal of deploying solar-powered artificial intelligence satellites in deep space.

The billionaire entrepreneur suggested his three major companies, SpaceX, Tesla and xAI, are moving toward what he described as an "increasingly" overlapping mission.

He says, "I think that there's increasingly a convergence, actually, between SpaceX, Tesla, and xAI, in that if the future is solar-powered AI satellites — which it pretty much needs to be in order to harness a non-trivial amount of the energy of the Sun — you have to move to solar-powered AI satellites in deep space.”

"It does feel like, over time, there's somewhat of a convergence there. But all the companies are doing great things,” he added. "Very proud of the teams that do great work,” he added.

Musk seemingly indicated on X that the convergence could eventually coalesce into an entity he has referred to as "Galaxy Mind," a platform designed to harness solar energy for AI operations beyond Earth's orbit.

Hollywood is Freaking Out About AI

Is Hollywood about to get replaced by kids in their bedrooms with AI?

Well, yes, kind of. Small teams can now make scenes that used to require entire studios.

Actors still matter. Real performances still matter. Humans still prefer humans. But the “middle” of the industry — the $50M tier — gets eaten first.

But AI can’t replace a great story. It’s not going to replace a real performance either. It can’t bypass the audience’s BS detector. And AI isn’t replacing human creativity.

We were led to believe reality was a mostly-predictable machine. In reality, it’s warm taffy: bending, warping, inconsistent.

You don’t watch Inception wondering how long it took; you watch it because it feels like magic.

AI doesn't kill magic. It kills inefficiency.

Time for a Reality Check

Turn on the financial news and what you'll hear is a symphony of panic, a relentless drumbeat of doomsday narratives that would make Cassandra blush.

The headlines are everywhere, each more ominous than the last.

"AI Bubble on the Verge of Collapse"... "Crypto Markets in Free Fall"... "Valuations Imploding as Reality Meets Hype"...

Wall Street's finest are practically tripping over themselves to declare that the market reckoning is not just coming — it's here, it's now, and it's inevitable.

But here's where this narrative falls apart...
