MSTY: Earn Yield On Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is a bearer asset. It’s gold with wings. You own it. You hold it. No one can take it from you—unless you’re careless. Or you lend it out to a hedge fund dressed like a bank. And that’s exactly what happened…
First, there was Celsius. They promised yields on your Bitcoin. Like a savings account, but better. Mashinsky, the CEO, was parading around like a visionary. Turns out, he was gambling with your money. Celsius collapsed. Poof. Billions gone. Users locked out. Now Mashinsky’s in jail. Then came BlockFi. Same story, different suit.
Enter the new yield product, YieldMax’s MicroStrategy ETF (MSTY). MSTY is different. It’s listed. It’s structured. It’s regulated. It files with the SEC. You can read the prospectus, track the dividends, chart the NAV.
So here’s the pitch: With MSTY, you get exposure to Bitcoin through a proxy and live off the yield. No need to sell. No need to work. Just sit back, collect the dividends, and watch it grow.
MSTY is not for most people. BUT… If you understand what you’re buying (and the trade-offs), it’s nothing like the crypto yield products of yesteryear.

British Navy Unveils Secret ‘Dolphin Tech’ To Illuminate Deep and Hunt Russian Subs
The British Royal Navy is set to deploy new autonomous underwater drones to improve undersea warfare. These drones use advanced artificial intelligence to find and deter Russian submarines in British waters.
Dubbed “Lura,” the system represents a fundamental shift in anti-submarine warfare, relying on a distributed network of low-cost gliders capable of persisting underwater for months while using AI to identify hostile activity.
The Lura program, developed by European defence tech firm Helsing, uses an underwater “constellation” of acoustic sensors mounted on unmanned gliders, formally known as SG-1 Fathoms.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine, there have been several incidents in the Baltic Sea involving the sabotage of undersea gas pipelines, telecommunications links, and power cables. Many people believe these acts are linked to Moscow.
Lura represents a quiet but potent move in this emerging underwater chess game. Unlike traditional sonar nets or surface patrols, it turns the ocean into a fluid, opaque, and now, algorithmically aware sensing medium.
Ray Blanco:
Scientists Built a Toy Model of a Black Hole Bomb, And It Actually Worked
A group of researchers at the University of Southampton have claimed that they have successfully created a “toy model” of a theorized “black hole bomb” in a laboratory setting, Live Science is reporting.
A “black hole bomb” was first theorized in the 1970s by physicists Roger Penrose and Yakov Zel’dovich and involves boosting the energy of a black hole and trapping it with mirrors until an explosion occurs. The concept was explored further by William Press and Saul Teukolsky in 1972.
The researchers from the University of Southampton harnessed what is called the “Zel’dovich effect” to simulate the conditions around a black hole. The Zel’dovich effect is a theoretical phenomenon where waves, like light or sound, gain energy by scattering off a rotating object, potentially leading to amplification or even a runaway energy build up—like a “black hole bomb” in extreme cases.
Using a rotating aluminum cylinder surrounded by three layers of metal coils the researchers managed to get their intended outcome, creating a mini black hole in a laboratory setting.
