Buy Before March 15th!

Enrique Abeyta:

Market Rally Incoming!!! Buy Before March 15th…

Right now, we are seeing one of the best tactical buying opportunities in the last three years. If the U.S. were really going into a recession, other countries wouldn't be performing so well. Their stock markets would be reflecting this outcome.

Furthermore, the equal-weighted S&P 500 is nicely outperforming the regular S&P 500 — and outperforming the technology names by a lot. This tells us that the average stock is doing BETTER than the leaders from last year. This is a good sign of the stock market health.

On top of that, we are at historic levels in terms of the least number of “bullish” investors and the most amount of “bearish” investors. Historically when we have hit these levels, the stock market has ALWAYS rallied — at least in the short term.

Our final data point is that we are just coming off all-time highs in the stock market. When we see a steep selloff quickly after recent highs, the stock market rallies every time.

There are few guarantees in investing. But I think buying the stock market RIGHT NOW is one of them!

Intel Appoints Lip-Bu Tan as CEO, Stock Surges

Intel (INTC) stock jumped 15% Thursday after the chipmaker announced it's appointing Lip-Bu Tan as its new CEO Wednesday evening.

Chip industry veteran Tan, who previously helmed Cadence Design Systems, takes over from interim co-CEOs David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus. The duo succeeded former CEO Pat Gelsinger, who was ousted by Intel's board in late 2024.

The news came the same day as a Reuters report that a consortium of chip companies — led by TSMC (TSM) and including Nvidia (NVDA) and Broadcom (AVGO) — is in talks to take over Intel's manufacturing business.

But Tan told employees that he'll carry on with an existing plan to work on making Intel a top contract chipmaker, signaling he won't split out the company's design and foundry businesses. Many on Wall Street welcomed the news, seeing it as adding credibility to Intel's turnaround efforts.

James Altucher:

Being Authentic as F*ck with Sun Yi

I had such a great conversation with my good friend, Sun Yi on his podcast, called Authentic as F*ck, and I felt like I had to say the full name of the podcast because I wanna be authentic.

Authenticity is complex, and being yourself isn't always straightforward. With friends, I'm different than when giving a talk or doing a podcast. But authenticity involves knowing who you are in different contexts and what you value.

Sun Yi and I explored this in-depth, discussing why being truly authentic often means embracing controversy, taking risks with your content, and understanding that the truth of who you are can change based on the context.

Listen to our conversation to learn about how authenticity can lead to controversy but also open new doors, why publishing content that genuinely scares you is crucial for meaningful impact, and a whole lot more. I hope you take meaning from it!
