BUSTED: Unitree G1 Scares Grandma

First Humanoid Robot ‘Arrested’ After Startling a 70-Year-Old Woman in China

A humanoid robot was recently escorted by the police after scaring a 70-year-old woman in Macau, China. The old person was later hospitalized due to the experience.

The incident occurred in Patane in a residential complex when the woman in question was walking down the street at 9 PM, the police revealed.

While looking at her phone during the walk, she ran into the robot, a Unitree G1 model, which was following her. The lady appeared frightened and startled upon discovering the robot standing beside her.

Post the medical checkup and treatment, she revealed she wouldn’t be filing any complaint. The cops confirmed there was physical contact between the robot and the lady.

After a clip of the interaction surfaced on social media, it garnered mixed reactions. Many Chinese netizens dismissed it as an unserious issue, while some joked that the robot had been 'arrested' by the cops. Others, however, expressed concern about the use of robots in public, sparking a debate over their ethics and safety.

As humanoid robots become increasingly visible in public spaces – particularly in China where robots are already directing street traffic – the Macau incident highlights the unfamiliar encounters that may arise as humans and machines share everyday environments.

Trump Meme Coin, Render and Pi See Double-Digit Rallies as Bitcoin Rises

Bitcoin has been locked in a relatively tight trading range for weeks. But that hasn’t stopped a few altcoins from staging double-digit rallies fueled by specific catalysts and a broad return of risk appetite.

The leading cryptocurrency has traded between roughly $73,000 and $62,000 for the past five weeks. Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has shown renewed resilience, climbing nearly 3% to trade at $72,300. This stabilization comes as exchange-traded fund inflows have continued to stabilize over the past two weeks.

Elsewhere, the Official Trump token (TRUMP) has surged 48% over 24 hours, coinciding with an announcement for a “Crypto and Business Conference” with President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Other altcoins, such as Pi Network and Render, are up nearly 15% over 24 hours.

This selective altcoin activity, alongside Bitcoin's stabilization, signals capital rotating into specific narratives as broader market sentiment improves, rather than a universal altseason.

Meanwhile, easing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East – with President Trump reportedly signaling a quick Iran wind-down and oil prices sliding – could encourage capital to flow back into crypto markets.

AI Agents: The Last Unfair Advantage

In all major tech revolutions, the main bottleneck was always leverage: the ability to do more and more with less and less. Previous revolutions favored those with capital, infrastructure, or distribution – but AI agents have the potential to rewrite those rules.

One person with five agents running 24/7 can now iterate a solution faster than companies with 50 employees. A million of those people starting businesses simultaneously – at this speed, at this cost, with this little friction – is an economic event with no historical precedent.

And this isn't coming. It's here. And the people who move now are the ones who'll be ready when it fully lands.

That’s exactly why I’m putting the finishing touches on a report called The AI Agent Revolution: What Changes Everything in 2026. In it, I lay out what I see coming, how to think about it, how to prepare, how to invest, and how to set up your own private AI agent (in less than an hour).

There's a FREE and easy way to get full, first-look access to this report once it’s finished. To learn more, check out the webpage for the free Tech Turning Point livestream that James and I will be hosting March 17 at 2PM EST after we attend Nvidia’s GTC in San Jose.
