[FREE TICKERS] Stock to Buy from San Jose, California

Earlier this week, as you may know, Paradigm hosted Tech Turning Point 2026 in San Jose, California. James Altucher led the event alongside Doug Hill, Ray Blanco, Chris Cimorelli, Chris Campbell, and myself.

We broke down the forces reshaping the market in real time. We went beyond headlines. We covered the AI infrastructure boom unfolding at GTC, the next wave of space innovation, and the overlooked tickers quietly positioning themselves for massive upside.

James Altucher zoomed out and put everything into perspective. He framed today’s moment as the third great technology wave. Computers in the 1970s, the internet in the 1990s, and now AI. Each of those eras created entirely new trillion-dollar companies.

His point was simple: this wave will be no different. And despite what many investors think, it’s not too late. James compared today to the mid-90s, when people believed the internet opportunity had already passed. He also highlighted a key constraint: compute.

Click the link below for a full summary of James' speech at the event, as well as summaries of everybody else's speeches – including the related tickers.

Bitcoin Tests Old 2021 Top As Gold Falls to Six-Week Lows Under $4.7K

Bitcoin rebounded from weekly lows into Thursday’s Wall Street open as inflation targeted BTC price strength.

Data from TradingView showed a drop to $69,500 on the day, with BTC reaching the area of its old all-time high from 2021. It then returned above the $70,000 mark before circling the 2021 level, helping preserve a narrative of comparative strength despite various macro pressures.

On Wednesday, the focus switched from the Middle East and oil to U.S. inflation as the Federal Reserve chose to hold interest rates at previous levels.

“Uncertainty about the economic outlook remains elevated. The implications of developments in the Middle East for the U.S. economy are uncertain,” Chair Jerome Powell said in an official statement.

Powell’s subsequent press conference reiterated that “progress” was required on inflation for rates to come down – a key tailwind for crypto markets. With just a single cut in 2026 now expected, risk assets felt pressure from the Fed, with U.S. stocks ending the day down by around 1.5%.

Uber and Rivian Team Up to Deploy 50,000 Robotaxis

Uber announced Thursday that it is partnering with EV maker Rivian to roll out up to 50,000 unsupervised robotaxis by 2031.

As part of the deal, Uber has agreed to invest $1.25 billion in Rivian through 2031. An initial $300 million has been committed following the signing of the deal and regulatory approval. The remaining investment will depend on whether Rivian reaches certain autonomous milestones.

Additionally, Uber or its fleet partners will purchase 10,000 R2 SUVs, with the option to buy an additional 40,000 vehicles in 2030.

Uber’s Rivian R2 fleet will initially be deployed in San Francisco and Miami in 2028, with plans to expand to up to 25 cities across the U.S., Canada, and Europe by 2031.

The news comes as other robotaxi services like Alphabet’s Waymo and Amazon’s Zoox have already hit the road. Waymo is currently the industry leader, with a fleet of about 3,000 vehicles serving rides in 10 metro areas, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, and Houston. Uber already manages Waymo’s fleets in Austin and Atlanta.
